At EPR, we strongly believe in actively encouraging the professional development of women by providing the access and support, both professionally and personally, needed to thrive and participate fully in the industry. Part of this is ensuring that our studio is an environment where open and judgement-free dialogue is encouraged, allowing team members to discuss varying forms of support they might require to enable them to succeed.
In our continued efforts to help level the playing field, our new diversity action plan — the EPR Everyone Strategy — and in-house School Outreach Programme that aims to improve access to careers within architecture, will help to ensure all underrepresented groups in the industry can thrive within our practice and the wider construction industry.
EPR is proud to be celebrating International Women’s Day; a global event that marks a call to action for accelerating gender equality. The theme this year is #EmbraceEquity — which seeks to remind the world that gender equity isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s a must-have. In support of the 2023 campaign, we stand united in this year’s pose to show our commitment to building an equitable working environment for our employees and tailoring support to team members’ unique needs in the spirit of long-term inclusivity.
