Cardinal Place

Victoria

We received planning approval to transform two separate 1960s office buildings into one high-quality development that offers the type of accommodation sought by leading companies based in or looking to relocate to Mayfair.

Our proposal also provides retail units on the ground-floor level that enhance the active frontage and extend the existing prestige retail further along the street. This is achieved by major structural modifications to the existing buildings, including re-coring but retaining primary structure where practical, and without compromise to the space being created.

The new routes and linked public spaces are designed to bring life and vitality into the area. A public roof garden was incorporated at the heart of the scheme and provides a peaceful sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Victoria. An extensive public art programme was used to articulate and punctuate the public space and routes through the development.
