A highly sustainable development, 65 Hampden Road has an Urban Greening Factor above the London Plan’s target. Targeting BREEAM Outstanding, the scheme will also feature a naturally ventilated basement, air source heat pumps and a biosolar roof.

Regenerating a vacant industrial site in Kingston, 65 Hampden Road will deliver 120 much-needed beds across a six-storey development — addressing both a local and wider national shortfall of adequate care accommodation.
The new build scheme incorporates a mixture of residential suites, communal amenity spaces, staff facilities, offices and ancillary areas. At ground level, communal lounges and vibrant terraces will host a wide range of regular activities to reinforce the care home’s familiar environment. Our proposals also boast a comprehensive landscaping strategy, including seasonal planting that is vital for residents’ mental wellbeing and helps to ground the building within the local community.
Set on a sloping site, our designs take architectural inspiration from the local residential vernacular, including carefully considered masonry detailing, bay windows to maximise natural light and a mansard roof.
