With a palette of glass, precast concrete and brick, the masterplan includes eight apartment blocks and townhouses ranging between four and 16 storeys, wet and dry residents’ facilities and a site-wide basement set within beautifully landscaped communal gardens by Andy Sturgeon Design. As executive architect, EPR delivered Block E, Phase 2, Phase 4 and the residents’ clubhouse.

Phase 2 comprises four linked seven-storey mansion blocks accommodating 186 homes, including eight duplexes and four penthouses. The original consented scheme for both Block E and Phase 2 was by PDP Architects.

Phase 4 consists of four apartment buildings ranging between six and eight storeys, eight townhouses and six mews houses. These accommodate 200 affordable homes integrated into the Lillie Square development and gardens. The original consented scheme for Phase 4 was by John Aslan & Partners.

Block E is a nine-storey stand-alone building of 62 private homes, including eight duplexes and two penthouses with panoramic views across the gardens and West Brompton Cemetery.

The clubhouse is a 1,858m² private residents’ facility that serves all phases of the Lillie Square development, providing a naturally-lit swimming pool, spa facilities, treatment rooms, a gym, a bar, a function room, a wine cellar, a cinema and a crèche. The interior concept design was by Richards Basmajian.
