Once complete, the exciting scheme will deliver much-needed affordable housing and bring economic dynamism to the area by supporting local businesses with flexible and affordable space close to Canning Town Station, supporting further regeneration.
Phase 1 of EPR’s broader residential-led masterplan for English Cities Fund’s Manor Road Quarter will provide 355 apartments, 50% of which will be affordable homes, across three new buildings in the heart of Canning Town — including a 32-storey tower. The first phase will also deliver a large proportion of the new publicly accessible linear park that will provide a network of green spaces as well as walking and cycle routes to improve connectivity within the local community.
We are pleased to share that works are progressing rapidly on site, with the concrete frame of the landmark tower now complete up to level 20 and the interior fit-out in progress on the lower levels. The concrete frame for both additional housing blocks is also now finished with the roofs being finalised.
